Health

Since a company’s economic success hinges on healthy employees, employee health is an essential economic factor for a company. Our company physician regularly visits the company to carry out compulsory and preventative medical check-ups, and employees can also consult them for advice on other health issues. Furthermore, our team enjoys a weekly delivery of fruits and vegetables. To keep moving and strengthen team building at the same time, we train together and regularly take part in the AOK company run. At this event in 2021, we even fielded a team of 17 runners. These offers continually promote health awareness and well-being in our workplace.

Supporting our employees in their respective responsibilities is important to us, which is why we founded the AST Academy. This concept enables internal training provided by our employees for our employees. Furthermore, our employees take part in numerous external training and further education courses and attend all required yearly trainings. At AST International, we believe in the importance of developing and making the best use of our trainees, working students, and employees, which is why we support and advise them in finding the right career path at AST International. We offer numerous training and study placements for our future colleagues and endeavor to take them on as permanent employees after they successfully complete their training.

Furthermore, we enable our trainees to participate in the Erasmus program where they can complete an internship abroad to improve their language skills while growing personally.

All our colleagues have access to our AST Academy, where we offer them the opportunity to further their education and qualify for new responsibilities.

Social Commitment

At AST International, we believe we are responsible for contributing to society with commitment and resources. For this reason, we are actively involved in many different social and charitable initiatives.

It is also important to us to strengthen the community and the well-being of our employees within our company. To this end, we offer numerous team events such as driver safety training, climbing excursions, and joint bowling. New employees are welcomed by our management at a Welcome Dinner and the annual trainee getaway makes new colleagues feel welcome right from the start and helps team members get to know each other better.
